Spraylist Download and Stream Free Music Online

Posted on 19:56 by Unknown
Splaylist is a great web tool for music fans. I know one of the hardest things with looking for free songs that you can stream and download for free is the spam content you would always get in the search results. It would take you a long time to stumble upon a good musical website, the same thing applies to movie websites. Many people all around the world look for free music and movies online that is why so many websites were designed with the sole goal of gaining clicks on ads at thr expense of good quality content.

spraylist

Splaylist is not like most of those websites. It is completey free and does not require any sign up or registration. All you need to do is head over to its main page type in the name of your favourite song or singer and there you go.
" click on a song name to begin streaming it within your browser or use the “Save target as” option from your browser to save the song on your computer. Songs you download are in the MP3 format and usually with a bit rate of 192kbps or higher."

itv Wild Free Documentaries about Animals

Posted on 17:08 by Unknown
itv Wild is a great and inestimable video resource for educators. It provides a plethora of video clips and long feature programs about wild life and animals. I have already check some of  its clips and I found them worth watching. They are very informative and educational. These videos can be shared with our students to introduce them to the notions of preserving wild life and keeping the natural equilibrium.

 itv wild

The content on itv Wild is neatly organized into different categories and tabs. You will find for instance in the home page tabs labelled : TV Shows, Animals, Competitions, Games. You click on any tab to explore its content.

The History of English in Ten minutes ( YouTube Videos )

Posted on 16:45 by Unknown
Th Open University has recently published a great playlist about the history of English from the Anglo Saxons till   the age of globalization. These are mainly ten minutes videos and are done with a huge professionalism. The videos sum up all what the English learners need to know about English.

This Youtube playlist can be used by teachers especially history and language teachers. They can share them with their students or watch them in classroom . This could be a group work inducive task, divide students into fair groups and give them some pre questions about the content of the videos at the end of which they need to provide anwsers.

history of english

As a little note here, Open University is a great website for teachers looking for educational resources. The site provides both video and textual materials. Head over to Open Learn and start exploring materials you might need in your lessons.

Here is the playlist of the videos about The history of English in 10 minutes

The Year 2011 in Five Minutes

Posted on 15:44 by Unknown
The year 2011 was a year of big news, devastating natural catastrophes ( tsunamis, floods, storms), and political revolutions. I have read somewhere online an article about the mystery of this year. Th author claimed according to some zodiac statistics  that whenever the number 1 appears two times in a year then that year will not be like the other years. He went forward and gave many examples about this, but to what extent this is true is up to the logic by which you and only you uses to interact with the world surrounding you.

It is true so many huge events took place in the last year. A turmoil is blowing ove the Arab world . It started in Tunisia and expanded to reach all the arab countries. Three arab presidents stepped down : Mubarak ( Egypt), Ben Ali ( Tunisia ), Saleh ( Yemen ) and some others will soon come down like Asad of Syria. At least two presidents died , Ghadaffi ( Libya ) was killed by rebels, and Kim Jong ( North Korea) died a couple of weeks ago. Some celebrities have died, some nations have been hit by the most devastating tsunami ever. There are in fact too many major events that I can not cover in a single post. I have instead included here a video that sums up these events and more in just about 5 minutes. The following video is about the most popular tweets of the year 2011 and through them you can read the history of a whole year in just minutes.

Top 15 Most Shocking Social Media Disasters of 2011

Posted on 15:01 by Unknown
Here is an article I have just read in Mashable about the top 15 shocking media disasters of 2011. I am sharing it with you if you want to know about some crazy things that happened in the world last year. This post is not educational as has been the habit with my posts here but it is more entertaining and informative in the same time. Some of the information included is really worth knowing. The post is organized into photo slideshows and whenever a topic draws you interest then you make sure to click on pause to stop timeline from moving. The person who created this slideshow did one mistake which i found annoying , it is that the slides move so quickly before you even complete your reading. This is the only inconvenient I personally remarked while watching the slideshow.By the way this post is growing in popularity and has been tweeted at least 3336 times till this moments. This proves the importance of its content. Check out
